HOW TO HELP
The best way to help is by voicing your concern to local officials and the state agencies involved in permitting these projects. Below is a list of officials and agencies who all have a role in the permitting process.
LOWER COLORADO RIVER AUTHORITY
When writing comments to LCRA stay on topics of water quality, lake safety, lake access, water use, etc. It is important to be polite and remember they aren't the enemy. TEXAS PARKS AND WILDLIFE DEPARTMENT
No current applications exist at Texas Park and Wildlife so comments and concerns can be emailed to Tom Heger. .
TEXAS COMMISSION ON ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY
TCEQ has issued to air permits by rule. They currently don't have any other applications for comment but concerns can be emailed to info@tceq.texas.gov.
They have 2 divisions that will need to issue permits, Air and Water.
LLANO COUNTY COMMISSIONERS COURT
Both Commissioners Mike Sandoval and Peter Jones are opposed to the current plan but it is always helpful to remind them just how many residents are opposed to this plan. There phone numbers and emails are below.
